Experience is everything

I strongly believe that it is experience that really matters in our life.

Being a tour guide, the founder of a toruistic business and an adventurer, I find travelling as the #1 experience we all seek for and truly need in our life.

Meeting new people, making new friends, discovering new places, trying new cuisine, sharing cultures, taking photos, smiling to strangers, watching locals, getting lost in a new city, finding your way back and being proud of yourself because of it, wandering along the streets and popping into random cafes, checking in in new hotels and on our facebook pages, savouring morning coffee in a local cafe, visiting the museum of local art, having your ethnic local dinner in one of the finest restaurants of the city and raving in a club among local crowd...
This is the best therapy, and the most pleasant. This is what I will always look for in my life, and what I will always share with my toruists - the UNIQUE experience, the authentic atmosphere, the vibe. Something that you will later describe to your friends and family like: "You have to see it/go there/hear it/try it/experience it yourself".
Experience is everything.

Food Embassy in Moscow

Fact 52.
Moscow is like... a race for supremacy. Every time it is a new design.. or exquisite interior.. or exotic delicacies.. This time ... The Food Embassy!

There are about 3000 cafes and restaurants in Moscow, and one of them is Food Embassy "Yornik". Come here for fine cuisine and cosy interior: fluffy foie gras under a thin white wine jelly (380roubles) rum baba with pineapple, black pepper and vanilla chantilly cream (390 r.)
The summer terrace is idyllic: a lot of greenery and shade, comfortable wicker furniture, flowers and bushes of rosemary. This is the right place for those who are looking for something local and gracious.

Sergiev Posad. Facts

Fact 50.
Ivan the Terrible was baptised here in Holy Trinity monastery in 1530-ies.
In 1608-1610, the Holy Trinity Monastery survived sixteen-month siege of the Polish-Lithuanian invaders.
During a riot of musketeers, Peter I was hiding himself behind the walls of the monastery, which was the royal fortress at that time.
In 1744 the Empress Elizabeth awarded the monastary with the honorary title of Lavra, which emphasized the leading role of the monastery among other cathedrals.

Top 7 things to do in Moscow

Top Seven things to Tick off Your Moscow “Bucket List”
This Bucket List was created with a great help of Anna Kocketkova https://www.facebook.com/anna.kochetkova.52?fref=ts

1.      Red Square.
You cannot miss it. You cannot ignore it. You cannot brag about visiting Moscow if you haven’t visited Moscow Kremlin and Red Square.
Please allow yourself a day or so to wander around the vast cobblestone square with rich heritage, gorgeous architecture and fancy cafes. The incredible GUM (well-known Moscow shopping Centre), Lenin’s tomb, Museum or Russian History are right on the palm of your hand if you enter this stunning world. The bright colors of the Kremlin and swirling Saint Basil’s Cathedral are one of the many Moscow Red Square wonders.

2.      Kitay Gorod (the Moscow China Town).
The Moscow China Town is very different from all other China Towns around the word. Please walk through the Red Square and continue your trip to see the embankment of old Moscow river. Plunge into the atmosphere of ancient Russian village where nobles preferred to settle in XV century.

3.      Walk up Varvarka street to re-discover the landmark of Kitay Gorod - Palace of the Romanov Boyars (the ancient Russia elite), which was built in the XVI century. Tsar from the Romanov dynasty lived there.

4.      You cannot pass it by without stopping and admiring. The Old English Court was initially used as the English Embassy in Moscow. Ivan the Terrible confined the envoy from England because Queen Elizabeth refused to marry him. Visiting this spot is almost taking a time travel back to the Terrible but Rich times of Russian history. It is a must travel indeed.

5.      Alexander Garden is well-known for the solemn ceremony of the Changing of the guards. Come closer and pay respect to the eternal flame at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Do not forget to stop by the stone Grotto, The huge fountain in the Centre of the Garden. It adds this sophisticated feel to the almost 200 year old garden.

6.      Christ the Savior Cathedral is the cathedral which is of a great cultural value to Russians.  It’s marvelous exterior, enormous golden domes, colossal bronze doors and pristine white walls will touch your feelings. The dome of the church contained over 20 tons of gold of "excellent quality", representing an "unnecessary luxury for the Soviet Union in the XX century.

7.      Patriarch’s Bridge is another un-missable spot. Put your adventure on hold.  Walk on the bridge and marvel at the Kremlin, river cruises, monument after Peter the Great and Red October Chocolate Factory, which is now a nightlife hub for the youngsters.
